The ISEE

The isee is the independent school entrance exam. The isee is taken by students for admission to private school or independent school.
The isee is given in 3 levels. The upper level isee is for students entering private high school. The middle level isee is for students entering private middle school or junior high school and the lower level isee is for students entering 5th or 6th grade.
The isee test may be different that other standardized tests that your child has taken, so it is imperative to have some smart study sessions about the test prior to the exam.
The isee has a verbal and a math component, and there is an essay required that is not graded but sent to the private schools of your choice.
While not the lone determining factor, the isee is an important component of the selection process for school admission committees.
